Terms & Conditions

The Protectmybike.co.uk (otherwise referred to as PMB) customer referral programme allows customers to earn referral credits that can be automatically applied towards the annual renewal premium of their PMB policy. To be eligible to earn PMB referral credits, all customers must agree to these terms and conditions.
How to earn PMB referral credits
All customers who purchase a PMB policy will be provided with a unique customer referral URL (link) that can be accessed via their PMB customer dashboard. This unique referral link can be used for non-commercial and personal use only. Customers can share and send their unique PMB referral link to their friends to invite them to consider the purchase of a PMB cycle policy.
Any friends who subsequently purchase a cycle policy through PMB using the unique PMB referral link, will then earn the referring customer a £10 account credit (provided the friend does not cancel their policy within the first 14 days). Customers can refer as many friends as they like but there will be a maximum of £50 referral credits (or 5 friends) applied to the annual renewal premium. Any additional friends or referral credits above the maximum of £50 will not earn any additional credits.
If you do not take up the annual renewal offer, or you cancel your policy mid-term, then there will be no cash alternative offered and you will lose any referral credits earned during the period. The credits are also non-transferable and cannot be assigned to any other customer or person.
Sharing Referral Links
Referral links should not be published or distributed on commercial websites such as voucher websites. Customers are prohibited from unsolicited bulk emailing, texting or messaging people they do not know personally, or from ‘spamming’ and using any automated systems to distribute your referral link. Customers are also prohibited from paying to advertise their referral link.
Multiple Referrals
If a referred friend receives multiple referral links from different PMB customers, only the PMB customer associated directly with the referral link used by the referred friend will receive PMB referral credits.
Termination and Changes
PMB may at is sole discretion and where deemed fair and appropriate amend, cancel or withdraw the referral programme, or an individual customers’ ability to participate in the programme, at any time and for any reason. We reserve the right to suspend accounts and/or withdraw referral credits where we believe there has been a violation of the PMB terms of service.
Updates to the Terms
We can update these terms at any time and without prior notice to you. If we do modify these terms, we will update them on the Protectmybike.co.uk website and PMB dashboard, which will become effective upon posting. Continued participation in the referral programme after any modification of these terms and conditions shall constitute your consent to such modifications.
